| This is a beautiful antique Victorian 18k gold citrine necklace. The citrines, are a subtle pale lemon color, perfectly matched and beautifully faceted. They are set in finely detailed mounts and perfectly graduated. The fine gold work is evident in the stone mountings as well as the connecting links which are textured. The necklace measures 16 inches in length and terminates with a secure push clasp. The gold has a rich,original patina and the necklace is in excellent condition. There is an import mark for France on the clasp. It is unusual to find a period necklace of this design with lemon citrines. Incredibly lovely,circa 1860 | ||||||||||
