These very elegant earrings are French,circa 1880. They are a desirable form, often called cluster earrings. The earrings are all original set in silver and 18k gold,typical of the period. The pearls are a lustrous white conical shape and the rose diamonds beautifully cut. The rose gold is well detailed and expertly finished, as would be expected of French jewelry. The lever backs are in excellent condition and have a French guarantee stamp for silver and gold as seen in the photos of the ear wire. These are so easy to wear as the size is perfect for day or evening. The diamonds have great color and sparkle and the central pearl a perfect feminine touch. They measure 5/8 inches long x slightly less than 1/2 wide. These are completely,original and in excellent condition. These are a pleasure to offer for sale. |
