| This is a large,early Georg Jensen Denmark brooch. It has the early Jensen GI mark,sterling,Denmark, 925 and model number 167. The birds are set in relief with silver that has a smooth satiny feel. It is pictured in Janet Drucker's book,Georg Jensen, page 62. It is hand hammered as finely and delicately as would be expected of Jensen silver work. It measures 2 inches down x 2 inches across. It has all original fittings including a trombone clasp. The reverse has a slight scratch, otherwise excellent. It has a bold, yet subtle beauty and is a delight to find with early marks. | |||||||
