hese elegant antique citrine earrings are English,circa 1830. Designed with simplicity, they are beautifully crafted in cut down,rub over collets. The citrines gently graduate in size, are well matched in color and are beautifully faceted. The earrings are in excellent condition, void of any repairs,and retaining the original back to front ear wires. The shape of the earrings is lovely with a gentle curve that hangs so beautifully on the ears. They measure slightly less than 1 1/2 inches from the top of the wire X slightly less than 1/2 inches across. They are a pale 9k rose gold and with almost no gold seen from the front, it would blend with yellow gold jewelry as well. The earrings are simple, elegant and easily worn day or evening. Very lovely, circa 1830. |
