Fantastic 20" x 14" x 9" (measurements approximate) painted wood umbrella stand, originally purchased in Vienna, circa 1930. Excellent example of original Bauhaus design; its elements pared down to the function of the piece, and its beauty emanating from that simplicity of form. Double drip trays, on short block feet. In very good original condition; some wear to the paint around the upper edges, as would be expected on a piece of this age.
