| Great 22 1/2" x 17" pastel on paper depicting bust of Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790), circa late 1800s. Edges of paper laid to board, which was likely done by the artist at the time of its creation, as the pastel coloring extends past the paper to the edges of the board. This is another offering from the estate of Alfred Owen Aldridge, of particular note in this case, as he was an author of several noted biographies of Benjamin Franklin. Very good original condition; unframed. | ||
