A pair of chinese porcelain parrots glazed in turquoise and aubergine. There are very faint stamped marks to the bases CHINA.

Dating from the early C20th., they stand 4 3/4inches (12.1 cm) high.

They are in very good condition.

A rare chinese porcelain caddy of square section decorated on each side, in famille rose enamels, with alternating panels of boys at play and flowers. All this on a brown & gilt ground with the base glazed white. It has a turned hardwood lid.

Dating from the Yongzheng period, it stands 5 3/8inches (13.7 cm) high without lid.

There is a firing fault inside the rim (original). There is wear to the brown ground colour and some very minor enamel wear.

A porcelain figure of a white deer on a mirror black base. Probably made in one of the Staffordshire factories.

Dating from the 1st half of the C19th., it measures nearly 4 inches (10 cm) along the base.

The gilding has worn off and there is a kiln touch (original) to the base (visible on photo 6).

A Chinese canton enamel foliate bowl beautifully painted in bright famille rose enamels with a forward facing dragon chasing a flaming pearl. The interior border with further dragons amongst flames and clouds, the exterior peaches and blossom.

Dating from the C19th., it measures 9 1/4inches (23.5 cm) across.

There is one minuscule piece of enamel loss (see photo 12). It is in otherwise very good condition with no crazing or stress cracks apart from original manufacturing runs in enamel.

An English porcelain bowl decorated in underglaze blue transfer with an an oriental lakeside scene in the Chinese style. It was made by Pennington's , Liverpool. There are 3 spur marks to the rim.

Dating from the last quarter of the C18th., it measures 8 inches (20.3 cm) across.

There is a glazed over original fault at the foot rim and the glaze has fled in places. It is in very good condition.

A Chinese porcelain bottle vase well painted in underglaze blue with lakeside scenes with a intricate border to the neck.

Dating from the 2nd half of the C18th., it stands 10 1/8inches (25.6cm) high.

There is a bruise and a hairline to the rim. The hairline is very difficult to see on the exterior. It is in otherwise good condition.

A fine and rare set of four graduated porcelain cylinder vases beautifully painted in bright famille rose enamels with court scenes. The vases fit one inside another. The bases are knife cut.

Dating from the first half of the C19th., they measure 8, 71/2, 7 & 61/2 inches (20.3, 19.1, 18.1 & 16.8 cm) tall.

They are in very good condition. I have never seen a graduated set like this before.

A small felspathic stoneware jug, probably staffordshire, decorated in sprigged relief with classical scenes. The rim and top of handle covered in a deep cobalt blue glaze.

Dating from the mid C19th., it stands 3 1/8inches (7.9 cmd) high.

It is in very good condition with no frits, chips or cracks.

A chinese porcelain 4-footed censer, the base and rim unglazed. It is decorated in famille rose enamels with birds in cartouches on a blue scrolling lotus ground. A kat-mau, a kamcheng and a teapot in this pattern can be seen in Ho Wing Meng's "Straits Chinese Porcelain" fig.23 p.58.

Dating from the 2nd half of the C19th., it measures 5 1/2inches (14 cm) across.

It is in very good condition. It would probably have had a lid.

A fine satsume koro with reticulated lid, decorated with dragons in a white slip on a ground of green stylised waves. There is the remains of the original sticker to the base.

Dating from the 2nd half of the C19th., it measures 4 1/4inches (10.8 cm) across.

The lid has been repaired. The base is in good condition.
