A pair of chinese porcelain plates decorated in underglaze blue and white with a flower and fence design . Dating from the 2nd half of the C18th., they measure 9ins. across . One plate has 4 rim frits , the other has only 2 small frits to the back of the rim . The plates are in excellent condition .

A fine japanese pottery koro (incense burner) from one of the satsuma workshops decorated in good detail with panels of samuri and immortals on a deep blue ground . Dating from the 2nd half of the C19th., it stands 4 1/2ins high and is 4 1/2ins across the handles . It is fully signed to the base .There is wear to the gilding . It is in otherwise very good condition .

A fine imperial satsuma vase which has been converted into a table lamp. Dating from the 2nd half of the C19th., it stands 10 3/4ins high with fittings (8 1/4ins without) . It is finely enamelled and gilt in typical japanese style with a tree in blossom . It has taken very minor atmospheric staining to the body (barely visible) . The hole to the base is an untidy job . It is in very good condition . Needs re-wiring and a new bulb socket .

A chinese porcelain cup and saucer , originally underglaze blue and white , which has been overpainted (clobbered) in european enamels , probably in Holland , at the time of its import in the early C18th. The cup measures 2 1/4ins across and the saucer 3 3/4ins. There is kiln adhesion to the footrim of the saucer . Both pieces are fritted to the rim . There are no cracks .

A rare and finely potted chinese porcelain tea bowl decorated in bright famille rose enamels with a bird on a rock in a floral landscape. Dating from the Yeung Cheng period (1723-33) , it measures 2 3/4ins across. There are 2 hairlines and some minor chips . Otherwise the condition is good and it displays well .

An unusual japanese porcelain cup with ingot shaped saucer decorated in overglaze enamels with oni and a warrior engaged in combat . Both pieces are signed in underglaze blue by Kanzan Denshichi (1821-1896) . The cup stands 2 1/2 ins. tall and the saucer 5.1ins long . The condition is excellent with only very minor wear to the gilding .
