A rare 4 piece cruett set made of english pearlware with underglaze blue transfer printed decoration. Made by Careys, it is marked with the name of the pattern "Ancient Rome"
Dating from 1823-42.
They are in good condition. There is a bruise to the footrim of the mustard pot
A finely modelled porcelain figure of an immortal. Made at the Kutani kilns, it is decorated in subtle enamels and white slip bianco supra bianco. It weighs 1450gms.
Dating from c.1900, it stands 10 inches (25.3 cms) high.
There is some very minor wear to the high points on the slip. It is in very good condition.
A good quality cloisonne bowl decorated with stylised phoenix and dragons in panels on a black ground, the interior with scrolling design. There is the Inaba factory mark to the base.
Dating from the 1st quarter of the c20th., it measures 5 5/8inches (15 cms) across.
A finely potted and decorated porcelain well bucket painted in underglaze blue with birds over waves, the interior with flowers. There is a 10 character mark to the base. It weighs 1248gms.
Probably dating from the late c19th., early c20th., it stands 7 1/2inches (19.2 cms) across the top carrying handle.
There is a minor frit to the top corner of one of the handles. It is in very good condition.
