A finely decorated English porcelain cup and saucer hand painted with flowers with underglaze blue and gilt. There is an impressed star mark to the base occasionally used by the Spode factory. The glaze is finely crazed, common in this type of soft porcelain.
Dating from c.1800-20, the cup measures 3 3/4inches (9.5 cms) aross the rim.
A very fine Spode porcelain cup and saucer painted in famille rose enamels, underglaze blue and gilt. There is a Spode mark to the base and the number 2384.
Dating from c.1800-20, the saucer measures 5 5/8inches (14.4 cms) across.
Chinese famille rose export miniature tripod planter finely painted with a flower basket.The body has faint, inscribed "anhua" decoration. Lower parts of the interior and base have been left unglazed.
Dating from the late C18th., it measures over 2 1/2inches (6.5 cms) across the rim.
There is wear to the rim gilding. It is in very good condition.
A staffordshire pottery jug made by F & R Pratt, Fenton of pot lid fame. It has 2 rare prints of birds ( Red backed shrike ref 661 and a lesser spotted woodpecker ref 662) on a rich blue ground.
Dating from the C19th., it stands 5 3/4inches (14.7 cm) high.
There is a chip to the rim, a couple of tiny chips to the blue enamel and crazing to the glaze. Please study photos.
