An English "deceptive" glass, so-called due to the thick walls of the bowl which give the optical illusion of an ordinary glass full when the there is very little contents. The drinker can drink more glasses without intoxication. The bowl is cut with roundels and the pontil is ground.
Dating from the mid C19th., it measures 4 inches (10.3 cms) high.
A good bohemain facetted glass cup / small mug made of a clear "bristol" green glass and gilt with the word "Andenten". It is beatifully finished and with a solid foot.
Dating from the mid C19th., it stands 3 inches (7.5 cms) high.
There is some wear to the gilding but is in otherwise very good condition.
