The lacquer is in good order. The paint has flaked off the metal rims and bases.

There are a couple of secure seam splits where the top and the base join the sides. There is a crack to the inner rim of base and a small retouch to the base rim. (See photos)

One of the feet has a split (see photo), it may have been detached and cleanly re-stuck. It is difficult to tell. It is in otherwise very good condition with minor wear to the gilding.

There is some minor wear to the gilding, minor loss of lacquer to the corners and a crack in the lacquer, all minor for the age. The lock is broken.
