A Chinese silver two part belt buckle made with dragons in bamboo surrounding auspicious characters. It is signed the the back WH for Wang Hing.

Dating from the 2nd half of the C19th., it measures 4 1/8inches (10.4 cms) max long.

It is in good condition.

Pair of Chinese bronze Gu shape vases in archaistic style.

Dating from the C18th. or earlier, they stand nearly 8 1/2inches (21.4 cms) high.

They are both well patinated althiugh the patina is slightly worn on the high points. The inset iron bases are probably later replacements.

A Chinese silver box lined in wood depicting a dragon encircling auspicious characters. The silver is quite thin, but well worked. There is a single character mark impressed on the footrim.

Dating from the 2nd half of the C19th., it measures 6 inches (15.3 cms) long.

There is a small dent to the top rim (photo 9) and what may be a small lead repair (on the "flame" to the left of photo 10). It is in good condition.

A Chinese repousse silver vase decorated with birds amongst flowers. It weighs 125gms. It is unmarked.

Dating from the late C19th., it stands 5 3/4inches (14.6cms) high.

There is a small dent (see photo No.7).It is in, otherwise, good condition.

Copper hand warmer or brazier with beautifully pierced lid. There is a mark to the base which, I am informed, reads Made by Zhang Wuqi. I have not been able to trace any information on this maker.

Dating from the C19th. or probably earlier (these were made back into the late Ming dynasty), it measures 8 inches (20.2 cms) long.

There is a small area of uneveness and a minor dent to the footrim. It is in very good condition.

Chinese cast bronze figure of Guanyin seated in full lotus and holding a scroll. It is well patinated although it was probably originally lacquered and painted.(Faint traces inside head-dress).

Dating from the Ming Dynasty, probably C16th., it stands 8 1/2inches (21.6 cms) high.

There is an original fault (hole) on chest and the end of one ribbon has been broken off.

A Chinese bronze tripod censer inlaid with silver with shou characters, keyfret ground and bats. It has a Shisou mark to the base.

Dating from the C18/19th., it measures 6 1/4inches (15.8 cms) max across handles.

It is in very good condition. One handle is secured in place with glue rather than lead solder.(Not visible and nothing missing)

An unusual polished Chinese water coupe for the scholar's table of beehive shape with a chilong curling round the side. There is an apocryphal Xuande mark to the base.

Dating from the C19th., it measures 5 5/8inches (14.3 cms) across.

There are very minor dents to the side (see photo). It is in good condition

A chinese bronze censer in the form of a man riding a deer. The deer inlaid with copper and silver patches and the man with silver inlaid scroll pattern.

Dating from late Ming/C17th., it stands 6 1/2inches (16.6 cms) high.

The rider's hands are missing and there would have been a locating pin attached to the rider to fit into the hole on the rim of the censer. It is in good condition with a nice patina.
