A good pair of embroidered shoes for the purpose of binding ladies feet.

Probably dating from the C19th, they measure 4 3/4inches (12 cms) along the base of the sole.

They are slightly soiled with age but are unused.( They are still stitched together.)

A chinese childs hat made from black silk beautifully embroideredin panels and edged with a woven silk border. It is lined in red. There are a couple of loose threads on the couchwork whorls on the back and a small piece missing from the blue border. It is in otherwise excellent condition.
