A fine Japanese Imari dish decorated in underglaze blue, red, yellow and green enamels and gilt. It is potted in a fine white, well levigated porcelain with a fine bubble-suffused glaze. There are 3 spur marks near the centre of the base.Dating from the 1st half of the C18th., it measures 8 11/16inches (22.1 cms) across. There is some minor surface wear. It is in good condition with no frits, chips or cracks. N.B. Due to lighting, the camera has overcompensated and darkened a few of the shots including No.1. The lighter shots best represent this piece.
