A fine japanese pottery koro (incense burner) from one of the satsuma workshops decorated in good detail with panels of samuri and immortals on a deep blue ground . Dating from the 2nd half of the C19th., it stands 4 1/2ins high and is 4 1/2ins across the handles . It is fully signed to the base .There is wear to the gilding . It is in otherwise very good condition .

A fine imperial satsuma vase which has been converted into a table lamp. Dating from the 2nd half of the C19th., it stands 10 3/4ins high with fittings (8 1/4ins without) . It is finely enamelled and gilt in typical japanese style with a tree in blossom . It has taken very minor atmospheric staining to the body (barely visible) . The hole to the base is an untidy job . It is in very good condition . Needs re-wiring and a new bulb socket .

A japanese koro and cover made in satsuma pottery and enamelled and gilt with court scenes and ladies dancing . It is signed in gilt to the base "Maruni" . It measures 2 3/4ins high (with lid) and 3 1/4ins across the handles . There is wear to the gilding on the high points of the handles and knop. It is in otherwise very good condition .

A japanese ewer for saki made from a satsume type pottery body and decorated in contrasting pastel blue and white enamel and an iron black/brown glaze .
