A Japanese card or cigarette case made of patinated iron and inlaid with silver and gold with a lake scene. There is a signature to the interior.

Dating from the late Meiji / Taisho period, it measures 3 1/4inches (8.2 cms) across.

There is some very minor degradation to the iron and the interior elastic in need of replacement.

A Japanese bronze vase beautifully cast cire perdu (lost wax) with bands of decoration and a stylised, 6 character Xuande mark to the neck. Whilst very Chinese in style, I am fairly certain that it is of Japanese manufacture.

Dating from the C18th./C19th., it stands over 9 inches (23 cms) high.

There is a split to the base of one handle. It has been polished.

A crisply cast Japanese bronze vase decorated with birds flying over foaming waves. The vase has been gilded and the body shows through the worn areas as an almost copper coloured bronze.

Dating from the 2nd half of the C19th., it stands 6 5/8inches (16cms) high.

There is a casting line down one side of the top section. There is wear to the gilding and a couple of very minor dents

A Japanese bronze vase inlaid with gold, silver and alloys with flowers in a thunderstorm.

Dating from the 2nd half of the C19th., it stands 5.5 inches (14 cms) high.

There is a very minor dent to the foot and some minor blemishes/wear to the decoration.

A very attractive Japanese box made from silver and wood with a bronze or other alloy top. The top is beautifully cast and engraved with a heron catching a fish amongst reeds. There is a 12 character inscription.

Dating from the last quarter of the C19th., it measures 5 1/2inches x 4 inches x 1 1/2inches.

The silver rim of the lid is separating slightly (I have pulled it a little in the photo to show), and there are some dents to the silver. It is still in reasonable condition and displays well.

A small japanese teapot cast in bronze with dragons chasing a flaming pearl round the exterior. Probably dating from the mid C19th., it measures 2.1ins high (not inc handle) and 3ins wide (max to tip of spout). There is minor rubbing to the patina on high points. It is in very good condition.
