A Japanese porcelain brushpot decorated in a thick underglaze blue ground with famille verte style flowers in planters in reserve. Probably dating from the C18th., it stands 4 5/8inches (11.7cms) high. There is wear to the gilding. It is in very good condition.

A Japanese porcelain figure of an immortal from the Kutani kilns decorated in overglaze enamels of green, yellow aubergine, turquoise and black. Dating from the late Meiji period, it stands 10 inches (25.4 cms) high. He is in very good condition with only minor wear scratches to some high points from handling.

A Japanese porcelain model of a well bucket covered in a rich celadon glaze. There is an indistinct sealmark to the base. Probably Sozan. Dating from the first quarter of the C20th., it stands 5 3/4inches (14.6 cms) high. It is in very good condition.

A fine japanese porcelain vase in the form of a well bucket decorated in underglaze blue and with an 8 character signature to the base. The glaze has been wiped from the rim. Probably dating from c.1900, it stands over 9 1/2inches (24.3 cms) high. It is in very good condition.

Japanese porcelain scallop shell shaped dish decorated in the typical Imari palette with a floral design. There is an underglaze blue Koransha orchid mark to the base. Dating from the late C19th., it measures 6 inches (15.5 cms0 long. There is a glazed-over firing fault to the footrim and minor wear to the gilding, There is some roughness to the end edge (original, no frits)

A charming Fukagawa porcelain vase decorated with a green dragon and phoenix on a yellow ground. There is an underglaze blue mark to the base. Dating from c.1900, it stands 1 3/4inches (4.6 cms) high. There is wear to the rim gilding and a minor, barely visible underglaze fault ( original) near the rim (See photo 7 ). It is in good condition.
