A very fine Indian or S.E. Asian silver box covered with top quality repousse decoration of elephants and mythical beasts in elaborate scrollwork.It weighs 242 gms.Probably dating from the 2nd half of the C19th., it measures 5 5/8inches (14.3 cms) long.
It is in very good condition.
