SOLD 

A very unusual chinese porcelain teapot in the shape of a monkey with another small monkey, each holding a peach. The teapot is covered in a sancai style glaze.

I am dating this c.1900 although it looks earlier. It stands 7 1/2inches (19 cms) high.

It is in very good condition.

SOLD 

A chinese porcelain custard cup with entwined strap handles. It has been superbly painted in famille rose enamels and gilt with the rare and collectable Rockefeller pattern.

Dating from the mid C18th., it measures 2 7/16th inches (6.2 cms) across the rim.

There is some very minor wear to the gilding. It is in otherwise excellent condition. It would have had a lid.

A chinese porcelain plate beautifully painted en grisaille with a large coat of arms and diaper borders.

Dating from the mid C18th., it measures 9 inches (22.7 cms) across.

There is a faint crack running most of the way across which has been stabilised. There is a small piece of paste missing at the back of the rim which has been infilled. There is some minor stacking wear.

SOLD 

A stoutly potted Chinese porcelain vase of baluster form painted in thick rose verte enamels with a phoenix and peony amongst rockwork. The hand raised potting marks can be seen clearly, particularly on the interior.

Dating from the Yongzheng/ early Qianlong period, it stands 7 1/2inches (19 cms) high and c 6 1/2inches (16.5 cms) wide.

There is a very small circular bruise to the exterior which has transmitted to the interior as a star crack. It is in otherwise good condition. There is kiln adhesion to the base.

SOLD 

An unusual chinese cloisonne tray decorated with precious objects on a turquoise, keyfret ground with ruyi borders. The cloisonne is on a paktong base.

Dating from the C19th., it measures 8 3/4 x 5 3/8 x 3/8 inches (21.4 x 13.8 x 1 cms).

There has been some minor namel loss half way up the left side which has been well restored. There are some dents to the paktong. Please study photos, overall condition is quite good.

SOLD 

An English pearlware creamer decorated in underglaze blue transfer with an oriental pattern with 2 men on a bridge in a lakeside scene. It is fluted with a crisply potted sparrow beak.

Dating from c.1800, it stands 2 1/16th inches (6.6 cms) high.

There is wear to the glaze on high points and a couple of really miniscule frits to the spout. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks.

A well potted chinese Yixing stoneware teapot slab built and moulded with a bamboo exterior. The lid has a ying-yang knop. There is an indistinct sealmark to the base.

Dating from the C19th or earlier, it stands 4 inches (10.2 cms) high and 6 1/4inchs (15.8 cms) from tips of handle and spout.

There are 2 chips to the interior of the lid. It is in otherwise very good condition.

Dating from c.1900, it measures 5 1/2inches (14 cms) across.

It is in very good condition. There are a couple of original glaze imperfections on the rim.

A good quality chinese porcelain jar, well potted from a fine white porcelain and decorated in underglaze blue with the hawthorne or prunus pattern.

Dating from the C18th., it stands 5 inches (12.7 cms) high.

It is in very good condition. The lid could be a well matched replacement as the colour is slightly darker.

An ironstone potery inkwell / standish decorated in an imari palette with a flower and fence pattern. Whilst unmarked, this is almost certainly Masons Ironstone China.

Dating from c.1820, it measures 5 1/4inches (13.3 cms) across.

There are chips to the rim and top with further cracks to top.
