SOLD 

A very finely decorated Chinese porcelain bowl painted in famille rose enamels with courtyard scenes.

Dating from the Qianlong period (1736-95), it measures 5 1/2inches (14 cms) across.

There is a faint 3.5cm hairline, a very small chip to the rim and minor chips to the footrim. Please study photographs to view the high quality of this item.

A rare Korean iron box decorated in silver with a shou character to the lid and 6 characters of calligraphy to the body, all on a diaper ground.

Dating from the C19th., it measures 3 1/2inches (8.9 cms) across.

There is some very minor wear to the silver. It is in very good condition for this type of ware.

A finely decorated chinese porcelain dish painted in famille rose enamels and gilt with a "Mandarin" pattern.

Dating from the mid C18th., it measures 4 3/4inches (12.1 cms) across.

There is some minor wear to the rim gilding. It is in very good condition.

SOLD 

A Chinese soft paste porcelain dish beautifully hand painted in great detail with riverside pagodas and butterfly borders.

Dating from the 2nd half of the C18th., it measures 9 1/2inches (24.2 cms) max across.

It is in excellent condition with no frits chips or cracks. There are 2 short areas on the rim where the glaze fled in the firing. There is a miniscule fleabite by one of these much magnified on photo No. 7.

A small english porcelain pickle dish. I regret I do not know the factory but Bow, Lowestoft and Worcester are candidates.

Dating from the 3rd quarter of the C18th., it measures 3 1/4inches (8.2 cms) max across.

The stem is missing and there are frits to the edges.

A beautiful Chinese porcelain armorial tureen lid decorated in famille rose enamels. I can not trace the Arms. The motto reads "SIN ARDU OR ARDII H?N".

Dating from the mid C18th., it measures over 11 3/4inches (30 cms) long.

There is wear to the gilding and fritting to the knop. There are no other frits, chips or cracks.

Westerwald grey stoneware jug decorated in underglaze blue and applied florets. There is an incised mark to the footrim.

Probably dating from the C18th., it stands 5 inches (12.7 cms) high.

There is damage to some of the florets. It is in , otherwise, good condition.

Chinese porcelain bowl well decorated in underglaze blue in the Kangxi style. There is a 4 character Kangxi mark to the base.

Dating from the C19th., it measures 5 inches (12.7 cms) across.

There are a few very small frits to the thinly potted rim. It is in very good condition.

N.B. Photo 8 of the interior is dark due to the auto exposure on my camera. The real colour is the same as the other photos.

A small Chinese double gourd porcelain vase decorated in underglaze blue with birds and flowers.

Dating from C.1900, it stands 4 1/4inches (10.9 cms) high.

The base is so thinly potted that, at one point, it was barely thicker than the glaze and a hole has appeared in the base with a couple af faint, associated glaze hairlines. (See photos of interior with light behind). It is otherwise good condition with well potted body.

Dating from the 1st half of the C18th., it measures 8 3/4inches (22.3 cms) across.

There is a faint 4cm. hairline to the rim. (See photos). No other frits, chips or cracks.
