A chinese fluted porcelain teabowl decorated in undeglaze blue and bright famille rose enamels with the rare and desirable Tobacco Leaf pattern.

Dating from the mid C18th., it measures 3 inches (7.7 cms) across.

It has a faint hairline. (See photos). It is otherwise in very good condition.

A beautifully carved chinese hardwood stand in th form of ruyi amongst roots. The top is uneven and will have been carved for a specific jade.

Dating from the C18/ 19th., it measures 2 inches across the top.

It is in good condition.

SOLD 

A fine chinese hardwood stand carved from a single piece of wood (not made in sections). The panels are carved in bas-relief and reticulated. The interior rim is stepped.

Dating from the C19th., it stands 1 1/4inches (3.2 cms) high and 3 1/2inches (8.9 cms) across. The interior measurments are 7 cms inside top rim and 6.5 cms inside lower step.

It is in very good condition. There is a slight fault across the grain to the rim and a miniscule nick the one of the florets.

A Chinese porcelain brushpot finely painted in famille rose enamels with court ladies in a garden on a beautiful scrolling lotus ground.

Dating from the 2nd half of the C19th., it stands over 4 1/2inches (11.6 cms) high.

There is a faint star crack to the base and a hairline to the side. (see photos)

A Japanese porcelain hexafoil shallow bowl decorated in the Imari pallette and bearing an underglaze blue Koransha orchid mark to the base.

Dating from the late C19th., it measures 6 1/4inches (16 cms) max across.

There is kiln adhesion and some wear to the interior. The gilding is worn from the rim.

A small english pealware teabowl decorated in silver resist with vines. The glaze pooling to blue/green in the base. The base inscribed with a circle.

Dating from the early C19th., it measures over 2 1/4inches (6 cms) across.

There is some wear to the silver and some kiln grit to the interior glaze. It is in good condition.

A small chinese tea caddy from the yixing kilns painted in famille rose enamels with a lakeside scene.

Dating from the C19th or possibly earlier, it stands nearly 3 1/2inches (8.7 cms) high.

There is a small firing fault to the rim (original) and a couple of miniscule frits. It is in very good condition.

A fine chinese porcelain octagonal cup, possibly soft paste, beautifully painted in underglaze blue with long Elizas, boys, landscapes and flowers in alternating panels.

Dating from the C18th, probably Kangxi, it measures 2 1/2inches (6.4 cms) across.

There is a small chip associated to a firing fault at the footrim. It is in otherwise very good condition.
