An English porcelain figure of the chinese immortal Shoulau. It is decorated in famille verte with rose additions. It is moulded from a fine white porcelain and is a good quality item.
Dating from the 1st quarter of the C20th., it stands 9 inches (22.8 cms) high.
There is a flake to the 3rd fingure of his left hand. It is in, otherwise, good condition.
A pair of well cast grape scissors in white metal (looks like silver) and obviously of good quality. There are 2 marks (continental silver?) on the back.
Dating from the C19th/early C20th, they measure 6 1/2inches (16.5 cms) long.
A Chinese porcelain tankard decorated in underglaze blue and famille rose enamels.It is slip decorated under the glaze with butterflies and flowers. It is possibly soft paste porcelain. The base is unglazed.
Dating from the 2nd half of the C18th., it stands 4 inches (10.3 cms) high.
There is a frit to the rim, a faint, small star crack to the body and wear to the gilding. Please study photos
A large chinese porcelain sauceboat of silver shape and decorated in underglaze blue.
Dating from the C18th., it measures 9 1/2inches (24.2 cms) long.
There is restoration to the spout and a frit to the base of the handle. What looks like a fault in the footrim on the photo is merely a shallow firing fault.
