A very unusual terra cotta pot and cover profusely decorated with coiled and moulded applique petals and leaves. It is painted with green and dark and light brown glazes.I do not know much about these pots but I think they are C19th.. It stands 8 1/4inches (21 cm) high.
There is a chip to the head of the bird finial and and piece of coil is missing in the lid. It is in otherwise very good condition.
