A chinese cloisonne box of hinged, oval form. The interior is divided into 3 sections and the lid at one time may have had a mirror. It is decorated with precious objects.Dating from the C19th., it measures 3 7/8inches (9.8 cm) long. There are areas of enamel loss to the base but no corresponding losses to interior (what you see on the interior base is residue of rust or cosmetic on the surface). There is loss to the interior wall with a very minor chip to the corresponding exterior enamel (photos 7&8) and some enamel loss to interior partition walls. The hinge pin has been replaced and there are some other very small enamel chips. This sounds a lot but the cloisonne is in good order on all displaying surfaces. Please study photos closely. This is quite a rare item.

A chinese Yixing teapot. It has been potted in a fairly loose style and in what feels like a lightweight but high fired body. The surface has been left matt. There is an undeciphered 4 character mark to the base.Dating from the C19th., it measures 6 1/4inches (16 cm) from tips of spout and handle. There is a small chip to the spout. It is in very good condition. N.B. The dark marks are dirt. I have now removed most of it with my fingernail but it could do with a good wash.

An unusual ingot shaped porcelain cup stand with a rice grain* body painted in underglaze blue. It has a 4 character Qianlong mark to the base.It may be of the period. Most of these cupstands are Jiaqing, so I will describe as possibly of the period. It measures 6 inches (15.2 cm) long. There is a faint star crack to the base and a flake chip to the rim. *Rice grain:Patterns have been hand cut through the body. The resulting pattern of holes is then filled with the glaze that covers the whole body.
