An unusual japanese porcelain cup with ingot shaped saucer decorated in overglaze enamels with oni and a warrior engaged in combat . Both pieces are signed in underglaze blue by Kanzan Denshichi (1821-1896) . The cup stands 2 1/2 ins. tall and the saucer 5.1ins long . The condition is excellent with only very minor wear to the gilding .
A japanese ewer for saki made from a satsume type pottery body and decorated in contrasting pastel blue and white enamel and an iron black/brown glaze . Signed in the lid by Tanzan* it dates from c.1900 and measures 5 1/4ins high . It is in excellent condition .

A chinese soft paste porcelain moulded bowl decorated in underglaze blue and white and gilt with scenic panels . Dating from the mid C18th., it measures nearly 4 3/4 ins across and 2 1/2 ins high . There are some miniscule bubbles to the glaze (original) and some wear to the gilding . The bowl is in very good condition .
A chinese famille rose porcelain water dropper in the shape of a lotus leaf and painted in bright famille rose enamels. There is an inscription painted down the stem. Whilst I have not had this read, these usually relate to examinations and are dated to a specific year in the Guangxu reign.
Dating from the Guangxu period (1875-1908), it measures 6 1/2inches (16.5 cms) long.
