A very unusual Masons Patent Ironstone footless bowl. It stands on a flat base with no footring. There is a Masons mark to the base.It is painted in underglaze blue and red enamels.
Dating from the first half of the C19th., it measures 6 inches (15.2 cms) across.
It is in good condition. There is an original spur mark to the inside of the base.
A Staffordshire porcelain childs mug decorated in underglaze blue, enamels and copper lustre in a "Gaudy Welsh" style. The reserves have a printed and tinted design and there has been some running to the underglaze colour in the firing.
