A charming wooden jewellery/trinket box decorated in typical high art nouveau style.The wood is a light coloured softwood (pine?) varnished to dark brown. The interior is lined with padded silk.
Dating from c.1900, it measures 6x5x2.25 inches (15.3x13x5.7 cms).
There is minor wear to the varnish on the sharp edges. It is in good condition.
A fine English rosewood watchstand with key tray beautifully turned and the interior lined with green satin.
Probably William IV or early Victorian, it stands 4 1/4inches high.
