Chinese blue and white porcelain tea bowl / wine cup painted with a bird standing on a rock by a flowering cherry tree. The reverse with calligraphy (a poem?) and the base with a 2 character mark which reads Wan Yu (Jade trinket). There are the remains of a wax seal to the base.

A very finely potted semi eggshell porcelain cup and saucer beautifully painted in underglaze blue with bamboo in a typically asymetric Japanese style. There is a 10 character mark to the base of each. Makers name is Kato Gosuke and it is made in Mino. In addition, the cup is marked under the glaze with the letters VM which suggests this piece was part of a commissioned set.
A fine chinese porcelain teapot decorated in famille rose enamels with a horse rider and attendants on one side and a monkey in a cave on the other.The lid is painted with a girl carrying a casket. The porcelain body is Jingdezhen quality. There is a 4 character Daoguang mark to the base.

There is minor wear to the rim gilding. It is in very good condition.
Japanese satsuma pottery koro beautifully decorated in enamels and gilt to one side with ladies at leisure and to the other with scholars and immortals. It has a gilt mark to the base.
