A rare pair of chinese dehua blanc de chine porcelain jos stick holders in the form of dogs of fo one with a ball under his foot and the other with, unusually, a ball and a pup. Each on a leaf shaped base. Dating from the Kangxi period (1663-1723), each stands 3.1inches (8.1 cms) high. One has small chips to the tail and teeth, the other has part of the holder missing and small chips to the tail and teeth. It also has an original potting fault to one eye. |
