A Chinese porcelain teabowl, originally underglaze blue, which has been "clobbered", later painted, probably in Holland. There is a pictorial mark to the base. Dating fron the Kangxi period, it measures 2 7/8inches (7.3 cms) max across. There is some wear to the rim gilding. It is in very good condition. |
