An unusual chinese molded snuff bottle decorated in famille rose enamels on a yellow ground. It is moulded with eight figures each riding a beast (kylin, donkey, elephant etc.) There is a brown wash to the base and rim. Dating from th C19th., it stands 8 cms high. There is a flake to the rim. It is in otherwise good condition. |
