A pair of canton enamel wine cups decorated in famille rose enamels with scrolling floral design in panels on a scrolling ground. The base and interior enamelled white. Dating from c.1800, they each measure 1 3/8inches (3.4 cms) high. One has a single stress line to the white interior, the other 2 stress lines to the interior and 2 small areas of enamel loss to the exterior. |
