A Chinese moulded porcelain bowl decorated in underglaze blue and famille verte enamels in an imari style. Dating from the early C18th, probably Kangxi, it measures 4 1/2inches (11.4 cms) across. There are 2 adjacent bubble bursts on the rim, one with a small associated shell frit. Wear to the gilding, otherwise very good condition. |
