A well carved chinese bamboo brushpot with a courtyard scene to one side and deer and phoenix to the reverse. There are 2 columns of calligraphy down the sides. Dating from the C19th. it measures 4 3/4inches (12 cms) high. There are age splits to the exterior which do not go all the way through. It is in otherwise good condition. |
