CHINESE YIXING STONEWARE POTTERY TEAPOT & CALLIGRAPHY
A chinese Yixing stoneware teapot in a rectangular bell shape. One side has archaic script in relief and the other left plain. The is a Yixing Zisha mark to the base and a further mark inside the lid.

Dating from the C19th./ early C20th., it stands 4 5/8inches (11.8 cm) high.

There are miniscule frits under the rim of the spout and a chip to the interior rim. The lid has a small chip to the exterior and further chips to the interior. It is in otherwise good condition.
