A chinese porcelain plate painted in famille rose enamels with 2 ladies in a garden, one playing a stringed instrument, and 2 cranes. Dating from the Yongzheng/ early Qianlong period, it measures 9 inches (22.8 cm) across. There is a faint hairline to the glaze on the back which does not come through to the front but no other frits chips or cracks. There is significant wear to the enamels. |
