A finely modelled pair of inkwells in the form of recumbent greyhounds on cobalt blue and gilt bases. Made in Staffordshire in the mid C19th., each model measures 4 1/2inches high and 6 1/8inches long. There is wear to the gilding and minor wear to enamels including a small flake to one shoulder. They are in very good condition. |
