A fine japanese porcelain jar and cover decorated in an imari style with three reserves of a boy on a crane on a floral and brocade ground.It has a Fukagawa mark to the base. Dating from c.1900, it stands 5 1/2inches high. There are potting faults to the base and inside of the lid, both original and glazed over before firing. It is in very good condition. |
