A Japanese vase potted in a soft satsuma style pottery body and decorated with birds in reserves on a blue/green and black ground. There is a key fret design in slip below the neck. It is signed to the base Tanzan. Dating from c1900, it stands 5 inches (12.5 cms) high. It is in good condition. |
