A good, heavily potted chinese water pot covered in a deep red glaze trasmuting to a rich flambe on one side. The base is unglazed and excess glaze from the body has been ground off at the footrim. The interior is glazed white. Dating from the late C18th / C19th, it measures 2 1/8inches (5.3 cms) high. It is in good condition. |
