This is fabulous Austrian silver tea strainer with ivory handle made by Josef Carl Klinkosch of Vienna under royal warrant of the Hapsburgs, c. 1890. The tea strainer bears the mark for 800 silver used in Austria/Hungary between 1866 and 1922 and Klinkosch's mark "J.C.K.". The handle is genuine ivory and is monogrammed with what appears to be "CBS".
