This is a fabulous Modernist 14k yellow gold and cultured pearl pin, c. 1960. The pin is set with eight 8mm akoya pearls which are very nice quality with very good luster, nice round shape and no blemishes. The photos really don't do this pin justice because they don't show the depth well. The vertical bars are all at different depths with a ribbon-like design around the pearls and a few leaves interspersed.
