Finely crafted late 19th Century iron Massai Warrior spear from Kenya. 6 ft 2” long, 7/8” wide blade and shank notched into short wooden shaft handle with long narrow metal butt. Blade length 37”, shank length (including blade) 42”, butt length 25”. Includes Ostrich feather decoration and leather tip guard with peacock feathers and beaded string. Circa 1890s.
