Rare subject painted during his hearst sponsored travels to Europe, “Sevilla” watercolor on paper, signed by Carl Oscar Borg (1879-1947) lower left. Dimensions: 7" X 11". His works are displayed in Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Hearst Free Library, Seattle Art Museum, the Library of Congress, Goteborg Museum in Sweden and the Bibliotheque in Paris. Robus, a painter and sculptor, a leader in Modern Art and Cubism, studied at the Clevland School of Art, National Academy of Design in Kansas and the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere, Paris.
