Very Large (over one foot long - 20 lbs) antique, finest carved 19th century ebony elephant with ivory tusks, inlaid ivory eyes and inlaid ivory toe-nails, demonstrates unmatched fine quality and artisanship. There are several slight age cracks (see photos). This made of the finest most rare and dense heavy African Ebony wood. Weight 19.5 lbs. (9 kilos). Circa 1890s. Dimensions: 10" h. X 13" X 7" d. ( 25 X 36 X 18 cm).
