This early Victorian mahogany cellarette
from second quarter 19th century has a
hinged rectangular chamfered lid with canted angles enclosing a zinc lined compartmented interior, the conforming slightly tapered case headed by scroll volutes to the angles and raised on plinth base, lock stamped S. MORDAN & Co. LONDON.
