| Execptional rare and unusually large rosewood English Regency teapoy including the large tea chest and stand. It's structured architectural form of tapered emphasized pyramid lines combined with uniquely shaped concave side-walls, burled pedistal and scrolled feet make the strong statement of the robust and elegant Regency style. This Brazilian rosewood (Dalbergia Nigra), the most prized cabinet wood of this period, strikingly contrasts dark and light striations bringing an uncommon rich depth to the piece.
