Corinthian Greek pottery female diety.Circa 5-7 th. Century BC. 7 inches high. The woman stands on a rectangular base holding a pomegranate in right hand and a bird or animal in the left. She wears a polos and chiton. These figures have been identified with Persephone or Demeter but might represent worshipers rather than the deity herself. Comes with Lucite base.
