This plate is absolutely beautiful! It is a quite large, 10.75 inches in diameter, perhaps a charger or just a cabinet plate, and bears the beehive or shield mark of Royal Vienna factory, Austria and was manufactured around 1880-1900 in what is called the Vienna period. Although the portrait is not identified I think it is a portrait of the Empress Josephine and the letter N is incorporated into the border. It has exquisite detail in heavily applied enamel paints and gold, and is hand painted o ...click for details
This is a pretty vintage pair of art deco silver plate knife rests I got in England recently. The ends have a trefoil leaf shape end rather like a stylized gingko leaf. They are in very good condition and measure 2.75 inches long and are 1.75 inches high and wide. They were made in the 1930s and are very decorative as well as practical to keep the tablecloth clean.

This creamy white stoneware pie vent, pie bird or pie funnel was made in the 1950s and is unmarked but is just like those manufactured at the same time by the Nutbrown company of England. The Nutbrown comapny has been making pie vents in England for 50 years or more. The pie vent was almost certainly made in Staffordshire England and I got it in the Potteries district recently. The pie vent measures 3 inches high by 2.25 inches in diameter and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks a ...click for details
This is a fabulous art deco design bone china cup and saucer in the early Regent shape in a pattern called Swirls in green, #12869. It is a very deco design and was produced during 1940-1962. This set is in very good condition. There is a scratch, NOT a hairline crack on the inside of the cup that does NOT go through that I only spotted as I scrutinized it with a loupe. I can't even always find it! A great set.
