This is a wonderful example of the art pottery made by Shelley China, Staffordshire England in the art deco style. This lovely vase is design # 8251 Carnations on a black base. The vase is 3.75 inches high and is 3.5 inches in diameter and has the British Registry date for 1918 and the Shelley mark for 1912-1925. The deco vase is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and the only flaw is 2 black paint misses done during manufacture near or on the base bulge.
